Bascially, this is a cover of “Bang, Bang” by Nancy Sinatra with unnecessary interverser EDM bridges. I was taken aback and interested at first, but this is one of the songs whose covers I collect, so..erm… #YOLO?
FIRST: I relate to the main message of trying to make good impressions. What we do to pass/get a job. SECOND: musical allusion to Toxic. I was liike “Nu-uh!” [explicit language]
Some of the songs actually have happy endings.
This is SUCH a good pop song. It’s so catchy, not to mention sonically interesting. #NoShame
I like the Gospel undertones of this song, but what I like the most is the potential of mixing it with “Be OK” by Ingrid Michaelson.
This song is sad and creepy. Maybe because the artist’s albums all have dolls on them O.o But the vibrato is just…
I shouldn’t like this album. But this is my second listen. So, well, I apparently do. Trippy and chill atmosphere with those messy vox.
I didn’t realize just how cool this song was the first /or/ second listen. It’s so different.
Well, this song is sweet and tragic and lovely.
Favorite song/artist of the day. #JamieNCommons #WashMeInTheWater
Her voice fits this oddly well. Also, I think this confirms that the bones of this song are just eerie. Regardless of iteration.
I’m only two tracks into the album, but I think I’m kind of loving. I was dying to know what she’d do after her REALLY unique and interesting vintage sounding debut album.
This might be my favorite piano piece I’ve ever listened to.
This album is actually really cool. SOOOOOOO different from VV’s “Shark in the Water” days.
This boy SANGIN’! He feelin’ that SPIRIT!
